4th July Sings the Valor of Independence

No nation was ever born with a silver spoon. The land of opportunities, America was no different. The warriors in the past and the martyrs have never expected anyone to decorate their photographs on the walls. Some people might think that the pain these men go through is more of a punishment that they do not deserve.

“Saint Augustine said once, “It is not the punishment but the cause that makes the martyr.”

To build a great nation, the capital needs amendments, laws, and defense system on its toes. Great wars and sacrifices were made on this land, and all this were done so we the today’s generation can celebrate each and every day. The decorated freedom fighters could not be offered anything that would justify their sacrifices. The ribbons and medals have been a symbol of valor and bravery since a long-long time.

4th July- the day celebrated as the Independence Day, when the Continental Congress, which was a committee that represented 13 colonies. These thirteen colonies then became the United States. On 4th July, the final draft of the Declaration of Independence was adopted. Moreover, these thirteen colonies fought the British for a period of 8 long years before cementing their independence.

In 1978, the Independence Day was made an official holiday in the entire U.S. On this auspicious day the Americans have a holiday from work- there are day-long picnics with hot dogs, baked beans, hamburgers, potato salad, and many more. Along with the delicious food, the day also lists the activities such as baseball games, music, pie-eating, parades, watermelon- eating as well as three-legged races. The sky is filled with some of the astonishing fireworks in the small and large towns. The entire aura is an amazing one!

When we talk about independence, it’s all about an individual’s freedom. There is neither a benevolent dictator nor a vicious tyrant. Others might accept the Kings or let themselves be controlled by a powerful government, but America was founded all way back in 1776 on one notion- no one would be the ruler!

Lining the medals and rewards with the most exquisite thread that man has ever produced is a treat to eyes. Everyone cannot possess them, and these rare occasions and rewards make them more eye-catchy and exorbitant. This independence let us honor the sacrifices that our men and women offered this country.
